Ribbon Leaves

To complement your ribbon or fabric roses, make leaves of ribbon, too. Cut a ribbon 1½ times its width and fold it like a prairie point (A). Gather the wide edge with a basting stitch (B), then tack the leaf in place under the rose.

Concertina Rose

Using 3mm or 6mm ribbon, cut a length about 10″ long. Thread a needle, using thread that matches the ribbon, and knot the end.

Fold the ribbon at a right angle in the center (A). Fold the horizontal section of the ribbon over and to the left.
